• Keep yourself and your belongings safe when unpacking in the morning.
• Use two or more people during the opening process.
• Inspect the surrounding area for suspicious activity.
• Ask one person to access your security facilities (such as locks and burglar alarms) while the other watches the entrance.
• Lock the door and inspect the interior to prevent intruders from entering.
• Remove items and displays from safes or storage and place inventory in display cases and counters.
• Do not allow anyone (not even the customer) to enter during the setup process.
• Make sure all screens are activated before officially opening.
